In order to inform parents and primary school pupils about the activities of the Regional Centre of Competence and with the aim of promotion of technical vocations in Karlovac County, 15 visits to primary schools and 8 meetings with parents of final grade pupils were held.
Representatives of the Technical School Karlovac, Croatian Employment Service – Karlovac Regional Office and coordinators of projects for the establishment of the Regional Centre of Competence visited primary schools Antun Klasinc in Lasinja, Ivan Goran Kovačić in Duga Resa, Bosiljevo, Slava Raškaj in Ozalj, Barilović, Plaški and Oštarije in February 2022.
In addition to presenting the educational opportunities of the Centre of Competence, emphasis was placed on the definition of craft occupations and their benefits, and on scholarships offered for enrollment in VET programs for shortage occupations in Karlovac County..
By the end of the project implementation, 200 visits to all primary schools in Karlovac County are planned.
